New electric cars Peugeot E-308 and E-308 SW will go on sale in 2023
New items will be equipped with a 156-horsepower electric motor and a battery with a capacity of 54 kW/h.
Peugeot has unveiled new electric vehicles based on the 308 and 308 SW models. The hatchback was called the Peugeot E-308, and the station wagon was called the Peugeot E-308 SW.The design difference between EVs and conventional 308 family vehicles is due to small changes to improve aerodynamics.
The original 18-inch wheels are also installed, and model nameplates now include a stylized "E". In addition, a charging port is hidden under the cover on the rear fender instead of the fuel tank cap.
Similar transformations took place in the cabin - everything is familiar, only specific graphics appeared on the displays (battery charging, etc.) and one more Brake driving mode with maximum recovery was added to the usual Normal / Sport / Eco settings.
Electric vehicles Peugeot E-308 and Peugeot E-308 SW received a battery with a capacity of 54 kWh, which should provide a range of about 400 km. Under the hood is a 115 kW (156 hp) electric motor with 260 Nm of torque.
However, acceleration or maximum speed figures have not yet been announced. However, it is known that the battery can be charged either with a three-phase alternating current with a power of up to 11 kW, or with a direct current with a power of up to 100 kW.
More information will be revealed closer to the start of sales of electric vehicles Peugeot E-308 and Peugeot E-308 SW - this is planned for 2023.
