The legendary British automaker, Aston Martin, has officially begun production of its debut crossover in the history of the brand.

The British chose the V8 engine with a displacement of 4.0 liters from Mercedes-AMG, which they had previously used in the production of other models, as the main power unit. But, especially for the «SUV», the motor was further modified and forced by local specialists: the output of the motor increased from the standard 510 horsepower and 675 N.m. up to 550 h.p. and 700 N.m. The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. In such equipment, the car accelerates from zero to «hundreds» in just 4.5 seconds, and its maximum speed is 291 km/h.
At the moment, it is known that more than 2,000 pre-orders worldwide have been received for the novelty. As for the future market price of a serial copy, they will be known a little later.
