As for sales, they will begin in the summer, and closer to the start of sales, price tags for Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 will be announced.



The novelty will be equipped with the most powerful four-cylinder engine in the world - we are talking about the Affalterbach M139 turbocharged gasoline engine with a displacement of 2.0 liters. In the regular version, it will produce 387 horsepower and 480 Newton meters of torque. The power unit is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and proprietary 4Matic all-wheel drive. Acceleration from standstill up to 100 kilometers only 4.5 seconds, and the maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. For the S-version, the same «engine» was boosted to 421 «horses» and 500 N.m. - which allowed to reduce the acceleration time to 100 kilometers per hour by 0.2 seconds. Both modifications also received AMG Ride Control adaptive suspension and a racing-style exhaust system.



Among other features of the crossover, it is worth noting in the exterior the presence of extended wheel arches, alloy wheels with a diameter of 21 inches, aggressive bumpers and impressive air intakes. The interior received a digital instrument panel with an original design and sports seats.
