Carlos Sainz Jr. was the best in the first practice of the Hungarian Grand Prix

Spanish «Ferrari» driver Carlos Sainz set the best time in the first free practice of the 13th round of Formula 1, the Hungarian Grand Prix, which takes place at the Hungaroring circuit.
Sainz's result is 1 minute 18.750 seconds. The reigning world champion Dutchman Max Verstappen from the «Red Bull» team was second (+0.130 backlog), the third was Sainz's team-mate at «Ferrari» Monegasque Charles Leclerc (+0.289).

Seven-time world champion Briton Lewis Hamilton («Mercedes») showed the seventh time (+0.960).

Later on Friday there will be a second free practice. The third free practice and qualification will take place on Saturday, the start of the race will be given on Sunday.
