Michael Schumacher's 2003 Ferrari car put up for auction at Sotheby's

The Ferrari Formula 1 car that Michael Schumacher won the world championship in 2003 is up for auction, according to Sotheby's website.
For sale is the F2003-GA model with chassis number 229, on which Schumacher won his penultimate, sixth title. In total, he spent nine Grand Prix on this car during the season, of which he won five. The auction will take place on November 9th. According to Corriere della Sera, the model can go under the hammer for 5-7 million dollars.

Previously, the Schumacher family had auctioned the 1998 Ferrari F300 and 2001 F2001 cars for $6.2 million and $7.5 million, respectively.

Schumacher is a seven-time world champion. The athlete received a severe head injury in 2013. Since then, his family has hardly reported on the health status of the race car driver. It was reported that the weekly care is estimated at 115 thousand pounds.
