Toyota faced the difficult task of making changes to an already popular model. The main difficulty was that the restyling had to not only please the fans of the model, but also attract a new audience. What came of it, we will see right now.

Specifications

There are three engine options to choose from. Compared to the previous version, they have become more powerful and at the same time more economical.

The base one is 2 liters, with a capacity of 150 hp, with a torque increased to 206 NM, it allows you to accelerate to «hundreds» in 1.5 seconds. faster. At the same time, fuel consumption in the combined cycle decreased by 1.1 liters. The engine is paired with a unique Direct Shift CVT with mechanical first gear for smooth shifting. The same variator has proven itself on the RAV4 and C-HR crossovers.

The next in the lineup is a 2.5-liter unit, the return of which has increased by 19 hp. and 12 Nm - up to 200 hp and 243 Nm, respectively. It works with an eight-speed automatic transmission, replacing the six-speed transmission.

The top variant is a 3.5L naturally aspirated V6 engine, unique in its segment. 249 hp

Appearance



Designers have tried to give maximum speed to the appearance of the car. This goal is served by a chrome acanthus hood, stylish and maximally narrowed LED optics, as well as a wider rear bumper. The upgraded front bumper and grille complete the look of the car. 17- and 18-inch wheels received a new design, and 2 additional colors were added to the body color options - blue and metallic red.

Traditionally Camry demonstrates premium design that can emphasize the status of the driver. This car will definitely not merge with the flow of city traffic. Another restyling has done its job - in appearance there is even more dynamics and expressiveness.



Interior

All changes inside the Camry are designed to provide uncompromising comfort for both driver and passengers. The steering wheel has become more comfortable and functional. Additional buttons help control systems without taking your eyes off the road. The 10-inch head-up display on the windshield serves the same purpose.

The spacious interior housed comfortable seats with electric adjustment, which added to the width. Complete the picture with high-quality finishing materials. Leather and wood are used in the TOP trim levels, and eco-leather is used in the basic trim.



Technology

The front panel houses a multimedia system with a 9-inch display, navigation and support for Apple Carplay© and Android Auto©. The console has a bright blue backlight, which makes it equally easy to read information in complete darkness and in bright light.

Thanks to Connected Services technology, the driver takes control of the car using a smartphone. The system remembers and compares data on the duration of routes, mileage, average speed, sharp accelerations and braking, and also helps to find a car in the parking lot.
